| Clients and Friends,Thank you for booking your vacations through Travel & Tours Unlimited for the past 23 years. It has truly been a pleasure to work with you on so many different trips that have taken you all around the world.
As you know, the past 15 months have been very challenging for all sectors of the travel industry. As we all return to travel (“plan your comeback” as one travel supplier puts it), it is important that we put our trust in those travel advisors and suppliers that have proven their strength, versatility and adaptability during these changing times.
In order to consolidate these attributes, Travel & Tours Unlimited is merging with Shoreline Destinations to form the premier team of travel advisors in Carroll County and the surrounding area. The merger will be effective on August 14, 2021 and the team will be led by Andrea Norfolk, the President of Shoreline Destinations.
Over the past year, we reflected on how to move on to our next adventure of spending more time with our children & grandchildren. While we will miss serving our loyal clients and the cherished friendships we have developed, we are excited for what the future holds. We will still be involved behind the scenes with the business, but we are looking forward to some downtime the next few years until we ultimately retire.
This decision was not taken lightly. Fortunately, we were able to find just the right fit with Shoreline Destinations and are confident that our clients will continue to receive superb service. In this regard, Michelle Unkart, Ana Kirculescu and Barbara Goundry will become employees of Shoreline Destinations and will continue to serve their clients and provide the same level of service and care they are used to.
We are immensely proud that our decision led us to Andrea Norfolk. Andrea started her career in the travel industry with Travel & Tours Unlimited and we could quickly see that she would excel in travel. Andrea started Shoreline Destinations in 2013, assembled a very diversified team of travel advisors and over the past 8 years has built a very successful business. In fact, Andrea has been recognized as one of top agents in the country by Classic Vacations, a luxury travel supplier we have had a relationship with for years.
Shoreline Destinations helps its clients plan all types of vacations to virtually any destination, including Disney, Universal, Sandals, ocean cruises, river cruises, tours, resorts, groups, destination weddings and honeymoons, and has strong relationships with the same travel suppliers (e.g., Classic Vacations, Disney, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Globus, Avalon) that are used by Travel & Tours Unlimited.
